Club Development Programme
Goals Beyond Grass are passionate about delivering and developing powerchair football. We aim to raise the standard and awareness of the sport, and to produce more players, coaches, and fundraisers for local clubs.
The club development programme starts at beginners that may be trying Powerchair Football for the first time ever, to players in the top leagues in the country, pushing towards playing international powerchair football.
GBG Knights
Following their promotion in the 2024/25 season, the GBG Knights now compete in the WFA Premiership. Every team listed below plays a crucial role in developing players and preparing them for this elite level of competition.
GBG Saracens
The GBG Saracens now compete in the WFA Championship, having earned promotion through the 2024/25 play-offs. All of the teams below contribute to developing players who aspire to reach this high level of the game.
GBG Spartons
The GBG Spartons compete in the South West Powerchair Football League, with fixtures held in Taunton. As part of our player development pathway, the Spartons provide a competitive environment for players to grow their skills, gain match experience, and progress toward higher levels of the game.
Gloucestershire Gladiators Golds
The GBG Golds were crowned 2024/25 West Midlands Development League champions, earning promotion to the West Midlands Championship. Their success marks a key step in our player development pathway, offering athletes the opportunity to compete at a higher level
Gloucestershire Gladiators Navys
The Gloucestershire Gladiators Navys were crowned champions of the South West Powerchair Football League in the 2024/25 season, with matches played in Taunton. Their success highlights the strength of our development pathway, providing players with high-level competition and a platform to progress to teams like the GBG Saracens and Knights.
