The Bristol Dragons are in the 2nd Tier of the goals beyond grass powerchair football club development programme, the same level as the Gloucestershire Gladiators.
As of 2nd May 2023, the Bristol Dragons play in the South West Powerchair Football League – Premiership.
Where do the Bristol Dragons Play and Train?
The matches which the dragons play in are in the South West Powerchair Football League. As matches are only 40 minutes long, 2 – 20-Minute Halves, all of the teams in the league will meet and play 4 or 5 matches in a weekend, usually in Taunton.
The Dragons train every 2-3 weeks for 2 hours on a Saturday, at Easton Leisure Centre. This has allowed them plenty of time to train and develop new skills which they take into their matches in the South West Powerchair Football League.
GBG Club Development Programme
As part of the club development programme, Bristol Dragons players can move up to the Nomad Knights, pending a trial, which many of them have already done.
