Stories

We measure our success in actual lives changed. These stories are a testament to the difference that communities can make when we come together to create lasting change. Goals Beyond Grass is proud to engage the whole community and share these success stories.

Peter & Charlie

Peter suffers from Spina-Bifida and has been through many operations as a baby. As he has grown he started to love football and wished he could play just like his friends. Charlie is his best friend and has Cerebral Palsy.  When Peters mum contacted GBG and asked about powerchair football we asked them along and ever since they have been loving it.

Oakley Adult Opportunity Centre

At Goals Beyond Grass we always strive to break new ground and we have been working with adults with a mental or learning impairment at a local adult opportunity centre. This is a totally new area for powerchair football and this project ranks among the most enjoyable we have ever delivered.
